Leading Graduate Career Development with Purpose & Innovation

As Associate Director, Megan oversees career advising for over 4,000 graduate students and recent alumni across University College, the Graduate School of Professional Psychology (GSPP), and the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS).

Her leadership focuses on building career readiness ecosystems that connect academic learning with real-world impact.

Key focus areas include:

  • Holistic Career Advising – Guiding graduate students and alumni through career transitions, job search strategy, and self-discovery with empathy and precision.
  • Program Innovation – Designing workshops, events, and digital resources that make professional development accessible and engaging for every learner.

Prior to her current role, Megan served as Assistant Director of Graduate Career Development at the University of Denver, where she played a pivotal role in expanding student engagement and creating innovative programming aligned with the evolving needs of graduate learners.

She also leads CareerDork LLC, a coaching practice she founded to help professionals nationwide overcome job search anxiety, gain clarity, and create personalized career strategies that work with their lives — not against them.

Megan’s earlier experiences span both education and research, including roles as Graduate Career Advisor at the University of Denver, Executive Coach at 2U, and Adjunct Faculty at DU’s Graduate School of Professional Psychology, where she taught future career counselors in the M.A. Psychology program.

Her career foundation in research and education — including positions at Barna Group, Folsom Lake College, and Scripps College — shaped her evidence-based approach to career guidance and her passion for connecting people’s potential to purpose.
