His career then grew with Johnson Controls, where across multiple roles — from Service Manager to Director of Sales for North America Enterprise Accounts — Robert showcased an extraordinary ability to bridge operational strength with customer-centric strategies. The turning point in Robert’s career came when he stepped into the rapidly growing field of data center management with Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Data Center Area Manager. This foundation led him to leadership roles with Southland Industries and then back to Johnson Controls, where he drove growth and operational performance across metro markets. But it was his transition to Vantage Data Centers that truly cemented his reputation as a visionary in the digital infrastructure sector.
At Vantage, Robert rose from Vice President of Operations (North America) to Senior Vice President of Operations, overseeing teams, facilities, and strategies across multiple geographies. In 2024, Robert joined Aligned Data Centers as Vice President of Operational Excellence. Now, in July 2025, Robert embarks on his next chapter as Vice President, Data Center Facility Operations at Oracle.
